April 29 - May 3, 2015: Bike run to Baja California with 15 brand new RX3 owners traveling Fifteen hundred miles for Five days covering Azusa, California; Ensenada, Baja California; San Rosario; Santa Rosalia; Negro Guerrero; San Quentin; and Tecate.
There are days past that one will fondly remember and take pride in what one has accomplished. The last Five days spent riding in Baja California, Mexico with 14 other RX3 riders will be one of those days for me. The camaraderie and bond built between the CSC RX3 riders is priceless and will be cherished for a lifetime. It is not often that a diverse group of people with a common interest, share 5 days of their life in pursuit of something that they all love - being on a motorcycle with wind and sun in their faces on a ride into a foreign country to places not yet seen. Going fast on winding roads and sweeping curves awakens one's soul. All cares and concerns are forgotten. The focus is on the present moment, life is all about the now and not what has been or will be. The sights, smell and sound while riding a motorcycle in a world seen the first time can only be experienced by being in that place and time. No amount of researching facts, figures and pictures on the Internet can awaken your senses as you view the setting sun from the Frances Hotel porch in Santa Rosalia. There will be more days and even nights riding my motorcycle. However, this trip will always be held in a special place in my soul. I thank CSC California especially Joe Berk and Baja John for making the ride a reality. I hope CSC will make this an annual run to the border! What a Life Indeed! |
